Welcome! I am so happy you have found my blog. The desire to begin a blog began as I was struggling to begin a family with my husband. The unknown of what I would be facing with different treatments and the emotional highs and lows that we all face in life, but especially when facing infertility, gave me the desire to create a platform where I could explain the IVF process for those who might not know and, most of all, encourage women facing the same challenges. I also have always had a passion for my faith, fitness, food and fashion so I will feature posts relating to these topics as well. Who knows where my "Busy Bee" life will flit!
I live with my wonderful husband, David, in Maryland. I have three incredible sisters who are my best friends and parents that bless me everyday. I am extra lucky because I get to work with my mom everyday! We co-own a bridal salon and event planning/design company outside of Washington, DC.
I chose to name my blog, "Beautiful Busy Bee" for several reasons. When I started dating my husband, David, he began calling me his "Busy Bee" because I was/am always doing a lot and flitting from place to place. I have a full life and I love it! The name just stuck and he then started calling me his "Beautiful Busy Bee." I also love what the bee symbolizes; diligence, obedience and industriousness. The bee is a reminder that Miracles are possible! Scientists have said that aerodynamically the bee should not be able to fly, whether true or not, it is a great reminder of miracles. The beehive, "The Hive," is also a symbol of teamwork, cooperation, family, balance, and harmony. It is a beautiful illustration as I build my own family.
